Are you a proven sales leader ready to take your career to the next level? Complete Solar Pros is seeking an experienced Solar Sales Team Lead to build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of solar sales representatives across Northern California.

As a Solar Sales Team Lead, you'll wear two hats: leading by example in the field while coaching and developing your team to reach their full potential. You'll be responsible for driving team performance, implementing sales strategies, and creating a culture of excellence that delivers results for both our customers and our sales professionals.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our sales organization while maintaining your own book of business. You'll work directly with company leadership to set team goals, develop training programs, and scale our operations as we expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new solar sales representatives
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to team members
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews
  • Lead team sales meetings and training sessions
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve team targets
  • Monitor team performance metrics and provide actionable feedback
  • Accompany sales reps on appointments for coaching and closing support
  • Maintain your own sales quota while managing the team
  • Collaborate with operations and installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Foster a positive, competitive, and supportive team culture
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Report on team performance and forecasts to senior leadership
Qualifications & Requirements

Required:

  • 3+ years of proven success in solar or home improvement sales
  • 1+ years of sales leadership, team management, or coaching experience
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience recruiting, training, and developing sales professionals
  • Strong understanding of solar technology, financing, and industry regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales performance tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • 5+ years in solar industry with leadership experience
  • Previous experience building and scaling sales teams
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and training frameworks
  • Strong network in the Northern California solar market
  • Experience with team compensation structure design
  • MBA or sales management certification
